Giving Tuesday Challenge: Match the $10,000 donation!
An anonymous donor and longtime friend and supporter of the UMCES Chesapeake Biological Laboratory has come forward to offer a matching challenge grant of up to $10,000. When you donate between now and December 15, a contribution of equal value comes from the donor and effectively doubles the impact of your giving.
Your donation will be matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000. That’s $20,000 to support future environmental leaders completing their graduate work at CBL.
We’ll have a formal launch of the match challenge campaign on Giving Tuesday, November 27. Falling just after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is a global charity giving initiative. Your donation - doubled by this year’s generous challenge - impacts the lives of future environmental leaders who are completing their Masters and Doctoral degrees at UMCES CBL.
Giving Tuesday is a great time to fill the heart rather than the shopping cart.
