Dr. Luca Morreale of the Smithsonian National Zoo, Conservation Biology Institute and the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute will present as part of the Visiting Scholar Seminar Series.  The seminar will take place on Friday, October 18, at 11am in room 109 of the Appalachian Laboratory.

Marie Miller of the Forestry Technology program at Allegany College of Maryland is the recipient of the 2024 Richard A. Johnson Environmental Education Award from the UMCES' Appalachian Laboratory.
