Office of Facilities Administration (OFA) is committed to providing quality facilities oversight support for all UMCES labs and units. Facilities Administration strives to foster collaboration, works in support of, and in coordination with all lab's facilities personnel on all matters related to Facilities Mangement for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Function
Office of Facilities Administration (OFA) leads institutional facilities master plans, develops preliminary programs and cost estimates for capital improvement projects, formulates and manages capital and operating facilities renewal budgets;,analyzes space use, conducts space planning and maintains facilities asset inventory, administers institutional energy management and sustainability projects, oversees UMCES environmental and public safety programs, assists in real estate and leasing matters, and advises on other institutional facilities related initiatives.
