ur faculty and students at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science. Our weekly YouTube video series called “Discovering the Chesapeake” features our scientists and the research that sets them apart. We post a new video every Monday at noon.

On Monday, July 3, Raleigh Hood, a research professor at Horn Point Laboratory, and graduate student Jacqueline Tay take you into the world of jellyfish to explain how their research helps them forecast when jellies will be in the water and discuss the value of jellyfish in the Bay’s ecosystem.
