President Don Boesch gave his last President’s Award for Excellence in Application of Science, an honor he first bestowed in 1999, to Cat Stylinski, senior agent at Appalachian Laboratory.
UMCES' Appalachian Laboratory gave its annual Richard A. Johnson Environmental Education Award to Dr. Charles Hager, who for 17 years has put together a week-long, overnight camp to introduce kids to the many marvels of western Maryland at Carey Run.
