Science for Community Seminar: Predictive Ecology: The History of UMCES and the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory

UMCES President Emeritus Donald Boesch will give reflections from his new book, Predictive Ecology: The History of UMCES 1925 - 2025, that covers the university’s 100-year evolution, from Reginald Truitt’s founding of the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory to the present multi-lab institution with a global reach. He will emphasize the key role that CBL scientists played in the protection and restoration of the Chesapeake Bay.
