Miranda Judd is a Ph.D. student working in the lab of Dr. Allen Place at the Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology. She is interested in the molecular regulation in dinoflagellate species, with the main goal of regulating toxin production in species like Amphidininium, Karlodinium and Karenia. She is also interested in using flavonoids to mitigate blooms of these species. She received the University of Maryland Dean's Fellowship for the 2020-2021 school year.
